VVF Accelerator Program

Do you want to start a business but don’t have an idea? Do you have an idea, but don’t know where to start? VVF (in partnership with the Entrepreneurship Council) is holding it’s first ever accelerator program this spring and we are accepting applications now! You will have access to our network of investors and successful entrepreneurs who, along with VVF executives, will help you start and develop your business with mentorship, money, connections, and recruiting assistance.

We will also be taking on 2-3 VVF members to act as 'facilitators' in helping these teams achieve their goals. This may include research, help with business models, or more in-depth tasks. Please indicate on your application if you are interested in this role. If these is enough interest we may increase this number and hold a separate workshop in which we discover the best ways that we can help students with their ideas (a big part of VC in real life) and how we might go about analyzing a very early stage company like this to determine if an investment makes sense.

Meetings will be 1-2 times per week starting in late February and going on for approximately three weeks.
