Our Team
Rishi is a fourth-year student majoring in Economics. He has previously worked at District Capital Partners as an Investment Banking Analyst in their Technology M&A group. Rishi has also worked as a part-time analyst at a special-situations / event-driven hedge fund. Last summer, he joined Guggenheim Securities as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.
Outside of VVF, Rishi is involved in AKPsi and the Global Markets Group. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing poker, and trying new restaurants in Charlottesville.
Rishi Jain, President
Veer is a fourth-year student majoring in Commerce with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. He has previously worked at Norwest Venture Partners on their Growth Equity team. Last summer, Veer joined Canaccord Genuity as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst
Outside of VVF, Veer is involved with AKPsi and Madison House. In his free time, he enjoys lifting, cooking, and watching soccer.

Pippa Harris, Chief Investment Officer
Pippa is a fourth-year student from Marin County, California, double-majoring in Computer Science and Physics in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. She has previously worked at Schonfield as part of the Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program. Last summer, Pippa joined Blackstone as a Summer Analyst in their Multi-Asset Investing group.
Outside of VVF, Pippa serves as a representative on the Honor Committee and as a Teaching Assistant for the Finance Academy. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants in Charlottesville, playing polo with the Virginia Polo Club, and hiking.
Michelle is a third-year student from Knoxville, Tennessee, pursuing an Echols Interdisciplinary Major. She has previously conducted economics research on the Federal Reserve and financial markets. This summer, she will be joining Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst
Outside of VVF, she is also involved with Global Markets Group, Delta Sigma Pi, 180 Degrees Consulting, Club Tennis, and Greek Life. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin and harp, watching college football, and trying new restaurants.

Leo is a third-year student double-majoring in Finance and History. He has previously worked at Virgin Management. Last summer, he worked Algebris Investments. This summer, Leo will be joining Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.
Outside of VVF, Leo is involved in SEED consulting, UVA Club Baseball, and St Elmo Hall. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, watching college sports, and reading science fiction.

Alec Waschman, Co-Director of Projects
Alec is a third-year majoring in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. He has previously worked at Telescope Partners. Last summer, he worked at PeakSpan Capital as a Summer Analyst. This summer, Alec will be joining Goldman Sachs as an Equity Research Summer Analyst.
Outside of VVF, Alec is also involved in TAMID and other finance organizations on Grounds. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, staying active, and watching movies.
Ryan is a third-year student from Cleveland, Ohio majoring Commerce and Computer Science. Last summer, he worked at Cleveland Research Company as an Equity Research Intern.
Outside of VVF, Ryan is involved in AKPsi and the Global Markets Group. In his free time, he enjoys reading, card games, and visiting aquariums.
Ryan Chen, Co-Director of Training
Nicolas is a third-year student studying Commerce and Computer Science. He has previously worked at Spica Capital and as a math tutor. This summer, he will be joining J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.
Outside of VVF, Nicolas is involved in the Global Markets Group, AKPsi, and the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society. In his free time, he enjoys pickleball, cooking, trying new restaurants, and playing sudoku.
Nicolas Cutler, Co-Director of Training
Adam is a third-year McIntire student concentrating in Finance and Accounting.
He has previously worked at two private equity-backed portfolio companies in infrastructure services, Qualus Corporation and Consor Engineers, as well as completed a spring private equity sourcing internship with ENDI Corp, and a private credit internship with New Mountain Capital. He will be joining Guggenheim Securities in NYC as a 2027 Investment Banking Generalist Intern.
Outside of VVF, Adam is involved with 180 Degrees Consulting. In his free time, he enjoys weight lifting, Muay Thai, hiking/outdoors, and watching movies

Outside of VVF, Ryan is involved in Madison House volunteering. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, poker, and traveling.

Sahi is a second-year student majoring in Commerce and minoring in Public Policy. Last summer, she worked at Evermay Wealth Management as a summer intern.
Outside of VVF, Sahi is involved in IRO and VROP and enjoys going to concerts, watching sit-coms, and trying new cafes

Kyle is a second-year student studying Computer Science and Commerce. This summer, he will be joining Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant Intern.
Outside of VVF, Kyle is involved with the Indian Student Associations and VISAS. In his free time, he also enjoys playing basketball, reading, and traveling.
